About our okra programme
Okra is one of Melbo's strongest vegetable programmes, with four commercial hybrids plus an advanced research line. Every variety carries tolerance to yellow vein mosaic virus and okra leaf curl — the two diseases that most often end an okra crop early — and first harvest falls between 40 and 48 days.
