Before you call
If your question is here, you have your answer. If it is not, we would like to hear it.
How do I buy Melbo seed?
Melbo seed is sold through appointed distributors and dealers across India. Tell us your district and the crop you are planting and we will point you to the nearest dealer stocking it.
Can I keep seed from a Melbo crop for next season?
Not from a hybrid — hybrid seed does not come true in the next generation, so a saved crop will not repeat the performance. Our improved research varieties (M-1010, M-Amar, M-Kaveri, M-Gangotri, M-Ganga and similar) are open varieties, and seed from those can be retained.
Which variety should I plant?
Start from the duration you need and the water you can count on. Our paddy range runs from 100 to 140 days for exactly that reason. Every product page publishes the duration and pack size; if you tell us your sowing window and district, our team will narrow it down with you.
How is seed quality assured?
Seed is produced with selected Indian growers, processed under controlled conditions and tested for germination and purity against the standards of the Indian Seeds Act, 1966. Quality particulars are printed on every pack.
Do you appoint new dealers?
Yes. We are expanding the distributor and dealer network across India. Use the enquiry form and select “Dealer / distributor”, and our commercial team will get in touch.
